Drop Spindles

It was a drop spindle that started me down this path. Who knew?

Now I make ‘em. You can get a basic spindle in a learn to spin kit or a fancy turned spindle made with domestic and exotic hardwoods. Spindles are available as a bottom whorl, top whorl, mid whorl, Russian, support, Turkish or Balkan. Your choice!

Of course, no matter what type of spindle you choose, it’ll be nicely balanced and spin easily and be finished with my blend of oils and beeswax.
